FAQ: What are your opening hours?

Tsuen Wan 10:30–19:30. Yuen Long, Kwun Tong, Tuen Mun and Tai Po 10:00–19:00. All branches close under Typhoon Signal No. 8 or above.

FAQ: How do I book or ask about a tour?

Call or WhatsApp the hotline 2618 7422, contact any branch, or book online at funtastictravel.hk where the tour allows it. Some tours can't be booked online; contact us for those.

FAQ: What kinds of tours do you run?

Guangdong short coach tours (hot springs, food tours), high-speed-rail tours across China, flight tours (e.g. Northeast China, Xinjiang, Shanxi, East China), Korea and Vietnam tours, and cruises. We also arrange private group tours.

FAQ: Can you organise a private tour for my company or group?

Yes. Fill in the 獨立包團 form with departure date, days, number of people and needs, and we'll contact you. We also do business and conference groups.

FAQ: How much deposit do I pay?

Guangdong tours are paid in full. Long-haul deposits run from $1,000 (fare up to $3,000) to $4,000 (fare $8,001+), and are higher in peak season. Confirmed (已成團) tours are paid in full.

FAQ: When is the balance due?

Short-haul tours: 2 days before departure. High-speed-rail and flight tours: 21 days before. Unpaid bookings are cancelled and the deposit is forfeited.

FAQ: What payment methods do you accept?

Cash, credit card (including instalments) and the online payment options on our website. Tours under $1,000 are cash only. We don't accept cheques. Taxes and surcharges collected for others are cash or bank-in only.

FAQ: What if I need to cancel?

Cancellation must be done in writing and in person at a branch; phone notice isn't accepted. Charges depend on route and timing, e.g. Guangdong off-peak 20% if 7+ days before, 100% within 3 days. No-shows get no refund.

FAQ: What happens if there's a typhoon or black rain?

China short-haul tours are cancelled if Signal 8+ is up at 6am or expected within 2 hours, or if black rain is up 2 hours before assembly. High-speed-rail and ferry tours follow the operator's decision.

FAQ: Is travel insurance included?

No. Please buy your own travel insurance when booking (Guangdong tours excepted, but then you bear the risk yourself). A personal annual policy is fine.
