FAQ: How much does a website cost?

Jump does not publish website design prices. Every site is bespoke, so send your brief through the 'get a quote' form on jump.com.hk. Jump says it replies to design quote requests within 3 working days.

FAQ: How much is web hosting?

Shared hosting plans: Silver HK$100/month, Gold HK$200, Platinum HK$300, Professional HK$600. Each includes a free Let's Encrypt SSL. Dedicated Cloud plans are quoted on request.

FAQ: Is there a set-up fee for hosting?

No. There are no set-up fees, only the monthly amount of your hosting plan.

FAQ: How much does a domain cost?

Annual fees include .com HK$150, .com.hk HK$300, .hk HK$350, .net HK$300, .org HK$150, .asia HK$350. Domain registration without a hosting plan carries a one-off HK$500 admin fee.

FAQ: Can I register a .com.hk domain?

Yes, if you have a valid Hong Kong business registration. .com.hk names are registered with HKDNR. Registering a .hk name can take 3 to 14 days.

FAQ: Who owns the website after launch?

Upon launch, all materials Jump prepared for you are your exclusive property.

FAQ: Do you use templates or WordPress?

Everything is bespoke. Jump works with off-the-shelf options such as WordPress, Prestashop, Opencart and WooCommerce, and builds custom solutions, including its own ecommerce platform, when needed.

FAQ: Can you build an online shop?

Yes. Jump has built ecommerce sites on Prestashop, Opencart and WooCommerce as well as its own custom solution. One example is Don't Throw Me, which is integrated with Stripe Connect.

FAQ: Are your websites secure and SEO-friendly?

Sites are built search-engine friendly. Security policies cover remote code execution, SQL injection, XSS attacks, login passwords, form validation and CSRF protection.

FAQ: Can you print brochures and business cards?

Yes. Jump manages print production through established Hong Kong printers, from business cards and stationery to brochures, packaging and event signage. It can advise on paper and inks, and encourages recycled paper and soy ink.
