FAQ: How do I book a workshop?

Book via the website at makeanddohk.com/workshop-booking. Spaces are limited and allocated first-come, first-served.

FAQ: Where is the studio located?

Three Keys Craft Space, 906 Paramount Building, 12 Ka Yip Street, Chai Wan, Hong Kong Island. Directions available via the Contact Us page.

FAQ: Are workshops suitable for beginners?

Yes — most workshops are explicitly designed for beginners. The macramé plant hanger, wildflower embroidery, stitch club, sashiko, and weave workshops all welcome beginners.

FAQ: What is included in the workshop price?

All workshop materials are included in the price. Knotting guides are provided for macramé workshops. The plant hanger workshop also includes a plant pot.

FAQ: Can I get a refund if I can't attend?

Tickets are non-refundable. However, you can transfer your ticket to another person — just email maker.workshop.booking@gmail.com with the name change.

FAQ: What happens if a typhoon hits on the day?

If a Typhoon No. 8 or Black Rainstorm Warning is issued, the workshop will be rescheduled. If Make & Do HK must cancel for other unforeseen reasons, a full refund is provided within 20 days.

FAQ: What is the minimum number of participants for a workshop to run?

Most workshops require a minimum of 4 participants. Stitch Club and Sashiko require at least 5. If the minimum is not reached, the workshop is cancelled and attendees receive a full refund.

FAQ: Do you offer corporate or team-building workshops?

Yes. Make & Do HK runs bespoke corporate workshops for team building and in-store events. Past clients include Adidas, Facebook, Bloomberg, Lush, and Soho House. Contact make.and.do.hk.studio@gmail.com for enquiries.

FAQ: Do you offer school workshops?

Yes. Make & Do HK runs craft activities for students and teachers. Past school collaborations include Renaissance College, The ISF Academy, and Kellett (British International School).

FAQ: Do you sell gift vouchers?

Yes. Digital gift vouchers are available in denominations from HK$100 to HK$1,500. Purchase at makeanddohk.com/workshop-booking/gift-voucher.

FAQ: Are online workshops available?

Yes. Online Zoom workshops are available for macramé plant hangers. Options include Live Class + Kit (HK$480, with materials shipped by SF Express), Live Class Only (HK$300), or Additional Materials for a second person (HK$180).
