FAQ: What can I learn at Aspire Music?

Private and group lessons in vocals (singing), drums and guitar, plus ukulele group classes, a Band Workshop and practice-room hire. Focus is on contemporary styles like pop, soul, rock and musical theatre.

FAQ: How much is a private lesson?

Drums with Dave: HK$700/1hr, HK$440/30min. Vocals with Yan: HK$600/1hr, HK$380/30min. Guitar: HK$700/1hr, HK$440/30min.

FAQ: Do you offer trial lessons?

Yes, discounted trials for new students: drums HK$600 (1hr)/HK$380 (30min); vocals HK$500/HK$300; guitar HK$600/HK$380. The homepage currently advertises 50% off guitar trials with code GUITAR50.

FAQ: Should my child do 30-minute or 1-hour lessons?

30-minute lessons are recommended for kids about 8-9 and under; older kids and adults are best with 1-hour lessons.

FAQ: What age can kids start?

Drums: around 6-7 years old. Singing: kids under 8 usually suit a group singing class (e.g. Singing Club 6-8yrs), though some 6-year-olds take private singing lessons.

FAQ: Am I too old to start?

No – the school has taught many students well into retirement.

FAQ: Do I need to read music or own an instrument?
