FAQ: What ages do you teach?

Encode accepts children from age 2 through to age 16. The curriculum is divided into age-appropriate levels: PreCoding (age 2+), Discovery (3–4), Exploration (5–7), Innovation (8+), and Tech Project Leader (intermediate, post-Innovation).

FAQ: Where are your campuses?

Monday to Friday 10:00am–7:00pm, Saturday 9:00am–6:00pm. Closed on Sundays and public holidays.

Visit encode-world.com/trial-class and fill in the enquiry form, or WhatsApp / call (852) 2388-9985. The trial is a 60-minute, 1:1 session with a private instructor.

FAQ: What happens during the trial class?

The 60-minute 1:1 trial is taught in English. The instructor assesses the child's coding level and learning style through hands-on exploration, guides them to build a mini-project, then provides the parent with a tailored progress report and recommended starting level.

FAQ: What language are classes taught in?

All classes are taught in English.

FAQ: What is the teacher-to-student ratio?

Regular elective courses and most classes run at a 1:6 teacher-to-student ratio. The trial class is 1:1.

FAQ: What coding tools and languages do students use?

Tools include Robot Mouse, Edison Robotic, Neuron, LittleBits, Intelino, Codey Rocky, Matata LAB, Swift Playground, Scratch, Scratch Jr, Python, Thunkable, LEGO Education sets, Roblox Studio (Lua), HTML/CSS/JavaScript, and science kit sets.

FAQ: What is the difference between Regular courses and STEM Electives?

Regular courses run weekly throughout a term and follow a structured progression (PreCoding → Innovation). STEM Electives are standalone 2-hour thematic sessions (Coding Lego, Science Lab, Generative AI, Roblox, Minecraft, 3D Printing) that complement the regular curriculum.

FAQ: How long is each regular lesson?

PreCoding and Discovery lessons are 60 minutes. Exploration and Innovation lessons are 90 minutes. STEM Elective sessions are 120 minutes each.
