FAQ: What products does NS MALL sell?

NS MALL sells Japanese food imported by air freight five days a week from Osaka, Hokkaido and Fukuoka, including fresh seafood (oysters, sea urchin, tuna, crab, shrimp, shellfish, sashimi, eel, dried fish), frozen seafood and meat, Japanese fruit and gift boxes, cooking ingredients (kombu, rice, noodles, seasoning), and alcohol (sake, shochu, umeshu, whisky, wine).

FAQ: Do I need to register as a member before ordering?

Yes. Registration is free and requires only your name and email address.

FAQ: How fresh are the products?

NS MALL's buyer selects and bids for fresh goods at Japanese markets on the morning of your delivery day. Goods are packed and flown to Hong Kong the same day, typically landing at 15:00–16:00. The company's own delivery team collects them at the airport and delivers from 17:00–20:00.

FAQ: What is the order cut-off time for next-day delivery?

21:00. Orders placed by 21:00 are sent to the buyer the next morning. There are no Japan flights on Wednesdays, Sundays, or Japanese market holidays (shown in red on the flight schedule), so delivery is not available on those days.

FAQ: Which areas of Hong Kong do you deliver to?

NS MALL delivers to most areas of Hong Kong Island, Kowloon and the New Territories. Remote areas (Sheung Shui, Tin Shui Wai, Ping Shan) incur a HK$30–HK$100 surcharge. Some areas (Peak, Mid-Levels, Tung Chung, Airport, Discovery Bay, Sai Kung, Ma Wan) require GOGOVAN at the customer's cost. Outlying Islands: handover at Central Pier only.

FAQ: Is there free delivery?

Yes. Orders of HK$600 or more after discount get free delivery via NS MALL's own fleet to most areas. SF Express cold-chain delivery is also free for orders of HK$600+.

FAQ: What delivery options are available?

Three options: (1) NS MALL own fleet, 17:00–20:00, free for HK$600+; (2) SF Express cold-chain delivery (not for fresh items), from HK$58, fastest 2 days; (3) SF cold-store self-pickup, from HK$45, minimum 2 working days' notice, frozen and dry goods only.

FAQ: What happens if a product I ordered is out of stock?

Because goods are purchased in Japan on the morning of your delivery day, stock-outs can occur due to weather, holidays or supply quality. NS MALL will notify you by WhatsApp and may substitute a product of similar quality or price, arrange delivery on another day, or issue a refund.

FAQ: Can I cancel my order after paying?

You can cancel before goods are ordered from suppliers. After that, cancellation is not possible. A 10% handling fee is charged on all cancellations.

FAQ: How do I return goods or request a refund for poor quality?

Check the goods with the driver before they leave for any quantity shortfalls. For quality issues, send a photo or video of the underside of the goods to customer service via WhatsApp on the day of receipt. Late claims are not accepted. You must keep at least 95% of the original quantity and retain the invoice. Full refunds require a reasonable reason within 30 days and carry a 10% handling fee.

FAQ: How long do refunds take?

Cash, bank transfer or PayMe refunds take 3–5 working days. Credit card refunds take approximately 4–6 weeks, depending on the bank.
